Tips on How to Archive Your Team Chats in Microsoft Teams

One of the most important aspects of teamwork is communication. The more efficient your team can be at communicating, the better it is for business. That’s why so many teams are turning to Microsoft Teams as an essential tool for collaboration. But even with all the benefits that come from using Teams for your company’s communications, there’s still one major drawback: you can’t archive team chats. Luckily, there are ways around this!

To archive a team chat:

  • From the channel list, select the ellipsis (…) in the top right corner of your chat window > Archive this conversation from here or from Settings > Team Chat Settings > Archive conversations on this server.
